How many days in advance must I book for BBQ Chefs?

Barbecue chefs are always high in demand. We recommend booking of BBQ Chefs at least 2 to 4 weeks in advance.

BBQ Wholesale does not engage in part-time students to handle your important events. All our barbecue chefs are well-trained experienced barbecue chef. We are capable of handling any types and sizes of events, from small-scale house party to large-scale corporate events of few thousands of guests.

How do you charge for BBQ Chefs?

We provide experienced and well-trained barbeque chef at $130 per chef, with a minimum of 2 chefs per session. Each session lasts a maximum of 3 hours or till all foods are cooked, whichever is earlier.

Chef service includes setting up fire, heating and cooking of food supplied by BBQ Wholesale.

3 joints chicken wings will incur an additional skewering charge of $0.20 each.

Chef does not handle other services such as setting up of tables, chairs, tentages and decoration; cleaning and clearing of barbecue venue or pit before or after the event. If you require such service, please email sales@bbqwholesale.com your request.

Note: Confirmation of BBQ chefs have to be made at least 5 days before the event with full payment received. The following surcharge will be imposed for BBQ chef with payment received lesser than 5 days.

• Payment received less than 5 days - $200 per chef, minimum 2 chefs
• Payment received less than 2 days - $250 per chef, minimum 2 chefs

How do I calculate the number of BBQ chefs required for my event?

To know the exact number of BBQ chefs needed, you may

1. Login to www.bbqwholesale.com
2. Select the required food items from our ala-carte or BBQ packages
3. Click on the ‘Cart’ link, located at the top right of the page
4. At the bottom right column of the "cart" page, refer to "BBQ Chef Services" for the total number of chefs needed based on the amount of food you have ordered. 

Alternatively, you may refer to below table for a rough estimation on how many BBQ chefs are required. The exact number of chefs depends on the actual food quantity ordered. 

Can I request for one BBQ chef only?

We provide experienced and well-trained barbeque chef at $130 per chef, with a minimum of 2 chefs per session.

You may email your request to sales@bbqwholesale.com if you need one BBQ chef.

Will BBQ Chef help us barbecue food bought from elsewhere?

Due to the sensitiveness of food hygiene and Halal issue, barbecue chefs strictly handle food supplied by BBQ Wholesale. Food purchased from other sources will not be grilled by our barbecue chefs.

Can we request BBQ Chefs to only barbecue portion of the food? We would like to barbecue the rest ourselves.  

Yes, this can be arranged.

Please request for a split of invoices; BBQ Chefs will setup and use the bbq pit first to barbecue the food you would like us to barbecue and we will leave the remaining food for you to barbecue later.
